FILIPINO YOUTH LOGO HOOD

FILIPINO YOUTH LOGO HOOD

Available exclusively at Jets Gear stores and on TrueNorthShop.com! This Youth Logo Hood in navy features a front printed Filipino logo Winnipeg Jets team design.

A collaborative design of Jonato Dalayoan, graphic, logo, and mural designer and owner of 4two Design Inc., and Marc Gomez, True North Sports + Entertainment’s Creative Lead, Hockey Branding. One of the hallmarks of the logo design is representation of the eight-ray golden sun surrounding the Jets roundel; the sun is a prominent symbol on the Filipino flag and within the culture. Three stars within the circle, also found on the Filipino flag, represent the three major island groups of the Philippines – Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The three colours of the Filipino flag are overlayed on the jet reflecting the integration of Filipino heritage into Canadian culture. Inclusion of a traditional textile pattern further embodies the bold and festive spirit of the Filipino community.
